Sonnenschutzmittel vor dem Sonnenaufenthalt großzügig auftragen. Geringe Auftragsmengen reduzieren die Schutzleistung erheblich. Sonnenschutzmittel mehrfach auftragen, um den Schutz aufrechtzuerhalten. Dies gilt besonders beim Schwitzen oder nach dem Schwimmen und Abtrocknen. Intensive Mittagssonne vermeiden. Babys und Kleinkinder vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung schützen und Sonnenschutzmittel mit hohem Lichtschutzfaktor (LSF größer als 25) sowie schützende Kleidung verwenden- Auch Sonnenschutzmittel mit hohen Lichtschutzfaktoren bieten keinen vollständigen Schutz vor UV-Strahlen. Bleiben Sie, trotz Verwendung eines Sonnenschutzmittels, nicht zu lange in der Sonne. Jeder Sonnenbrand schädigt die Haut nachhaltig und ist zu vermeiden. Übermäßiges Sonnenbaden stellt ein ernsthaftes Gesundheitsrisiko dar. Kontakt mit den Augen vermeiden. Sonnenschutzmittel vollständig einziehen lassen. Kontakt mit Kleidung, Textilien und Oberflächen vermeiden. Bildung von dauerhaften Kontaktflecken oder Veränderungen sind auch nach dem vollständigen Einziehen möglich.
